What is the Solar System?
Our solar system is a big, fascinating place that includes the Sun, eight planets, their moons, and other interesting objects like dwarf planets and asteroids. Think of it as a gigantic neighborhood in space where each planet has its own unique features.

The Sun is the center of the solar system and the largest object. It provides light and heat to the planets and other celestial bodies. It is a massive ball of hot gases, primarily hydrogen and helium.

The solar system has eight planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. There are five officially recognized dwarf planets in our solar system: Ceres, Pluto, Haumea Makemake and Eris.

Flashcards are a fun and visual way for kids to learn key facts, like planet names, sizes, and characteristics. They encourage memorization and quick recall, making it easier for children to grasp complex concepts. Flashcards also help improve engagement by offering interactive learning opportunities.
